Block medical officer Langate, Dr. Nazir Ahmad Bhat has congratulated his subordinate staff for bringing the area on top of the Aspirational district Rankings devised by NITI Aayog. Kupwara district has shown tremendous performance and has figured in the top seven districts in NITI Aayog ranking. Since medical block Langate is the largest one in the district it has played a vital role in achieving the overall targets set for the district.
In a message, Dr. Nazir said: “This is a proud moment for all of us that we have emerged among the top seven districts across the country for having achieved the distinction of making remarkable progress in various developmental parameters under the Aspirational Districts Programme”.
As per the Second Delta Ranking released by the NITI Aayog yesterday, Kupwara has made a quantum jump from a 108th slot in the first delta ranking released in June 2018 to 7th slot showing a striking improvement on various parameters between June 2018 and October 2018. Medical block Langate being the largest health administrative unit in the district has played a remarkable role, in achieving the feat, which has duly been appreciated by the Aayog.
Appreciating his subordinate staff including doctors, paramedics, BPMU and most importantly the Asha workers. BMO Langate Dr. Nazir Ahmad said “we should feel proud to have been named as fast movers by none other than NITI Aayog. This couldn’t have been possible without you working sincerely and tirelessly. I am happy and congratulate you all with the hope that we will succeed and maintains the pace of work and achieve even bigger targets to make the life of our people better”. He thanked the DHSK and senior officers of the department and DDC Kupwara with all concerned district authorities saying they have always been helping and appreciating which boosts the morale of the workforce.
